Submit a Dear Mustang Graduate Letter Today!

Showcase how Cal Poly Proud you are of your spring 2023 graduate by writing a Dear Mustang Graduate letter!

The Dear Mustang Graduate campaign offers a unique way for you to congratulate graduates, highlight their accomplishments, give thanks, share memories, and offer words of wisdom. Through these letters, we hope to surprise the Class of 2023 with personal notes from the people who supported them throughout their Cal Poly journey.

For optimal impact, we ask that you please keep this letter a secret. Once submitted, the Commencement Office will begin preparations to deliver letters to graduates on your behalf.

The deadline to submit Dear Mustang Graduate letters is June 9. 

Submission Directions

1. Click on the following link to begin the letter submission process: THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT LETTERS HAS PASSED
2. Complete the required fields and click "submit."
3. Check your inbox for an email from Student Affairs Student Affairs - Business Transformation <adobesign@adobesign.com> with the subject line "Signature requested on "Dear Mustangs" and click "Review and Sign"
4. Sign into your Adobe account or create an account
5. Complete the following fields:
   • Salutation (e.g. Dear Student,)
   • Letter (250 words max)
   • Closing (e.g. Love, Mom)
   • Signature
6. Click the blue "Click to Sign" button
7. You will receive a "You're all set" confirmation page. The Commencement Office staff will review your letter and prepare it to be delivered to your graduate.
8. Once approved, you will receive an email from Student Affairs Student Affairs - Business Transformation <adobesign@adobesign.com> with the subject line "Acknowledgement requested on "Dear Mustangs"
   • Click the "Review and Acknowledge" button
9. Review your letter and click the blue "Acknowledge Receipt" button
10. You will receive an email from Cal Poly <adobesign@adobesign.com> with the subject line "Completed: 'Dear Mustangs'"
11. Your student will be notified via email that their letter is ready to be viewed.
